Dr Annabel Chew is a Consultant of the Glaucoma Department in the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC). She holds various academic appointments; she is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, and Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of NUS. Dr Chew is actively involved in postgraduate and undergraduate education of ophthalmology trainees and medical students, as well as paramedical staff, including optometrists and nurses. Dr Chew is an Adjunct Clinician Investigator at the Singapore Eye Research Institute. Her current research interest is in glaucoma and she actively participates in presentations at international and local
conferences, and has published scientific papers in respected peer-reviewed medical journals.

Within SNEC, Dr Chew is a member to the Primary Eye Care
Committee, as well as a member of the Philanthropy and
Development Committee.
