Dr Gillian Teh is an Ophthalmology Consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), where her sub-speciality focus is in Oculoplastics and ocular adnexa surgery.

She has a keen interest in the education of undergraduate and postgraduate students, and holds a position as clinical tutor with the National University of Singapore (NUS) -Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She firmly believes the strength of a clinician lies not in the individual but with a team, and hence is passionate about training and education in nursing and auxiliary staff – being invited annually to lecture at courses for nurses, imaging technicians and optometrists.

She is actively involved in philanthropy and mission work, and is a member of the Philanthropy and Development committee in SNEC. Her previous mission work has taken her to Sri Lanka, Indonesia and the Indian state of Ladakh.
